The State of Illinois is often known as the “Prairie State” or “Land of Lincoln”. It is a very diverse state with a mix of both manufacturing and agricultural industries. The moderate tax rates and broad tax incentives offered by the State of Illinois are designed to encourage business growth. These business incentives include tax credits, sales tax exemptions, property tax abatements and access to capital. Additional incentives are offered to companies that expand within enterprise zones designated by the State of Illinois.
The State of Illinois’ transportation system utilizes air, highways, rail, waterways and telecommunications technologies to provide direct routes to every United States market and international ports. Indeed, the State of Illinois is the logistical capital of North America.
